A great end to 2010!!!

It is a bit dreary outside today, so I guess I will take down the Christmas decorations and get my house back to "normal."  I must admit that taking down the Christmas Tree for me is the saddest part of the Christmas and holiday season.  I really hate to see it come to an end.  Preston was able to take 2 weeks off of work and since Daniele was coming home from college, we decided to stay in Clermont over the break.  Lazy mornings, wii competitions, excellent food prepared by Chef Preston, movie and game nights....this break has felt like a real retreat.  Tomorrow, we return to our regularly scheduled chaos:  Preston working until 7 pm, long school days, activity packed Wednesdays, quick breakfasts and simple dinners prepared in 30 minutes.  Our lives here in France still run at a pace that can be exhausting, but we have been refreshed and energized to meet the challenges and opportunities that await us in the new year!
